Back again and have done some more testing. I don't know Lua at all but I used to code for a living so I poked around a bit. I'm pretty sure that creating Lifebloom as a debuff was the source of the problem. I completely removed my custom debuff and the problem is gone, along with my custom bar color alas. (Note from my previous comment that only disabling the Lifebloom custom debuff did not completely solve the problem.) For now I will just live with it this way. Perhaps you could add "custom buffs" or the equivalent as a feature someday, or perhaps the ability to label a custom debuff as a buff. You DO have a monitor for buffs setting but Lifebloom isn't a choice and with multiple tanks it wouldn't do what I want. I doubt there is a huge demand for this kind of feature so no worries. Thanks and hope I didn't waste too much of your time.
Sorry for the delay again. So I just tried this and I'm still seeing the lifebloom icon at both ends of the bar. I have not had a chance to try this with another resto druid to see if their lifebloom is still showing up. Here are a couple specific things I am noticing.
1 - If I go to skins->frames->icons and uncheck "show debuff" then the lifebloom icon on the left goes away and the one on the right remains which is what I want. However, I assume that means that other debuffs will not show either which is a problem.
2 - If I uncheck "show hot" and check "show debuff" then only lifebloom shows on the left and no other hots show at all.
3 - If I disable my custom bar color for self-cast lifebloom, casting lifebloom changes the bar color to that of a "magic" debuff. Lifebloom shows on both ends of the bar.
Is it possible that somehow lifebloom is being treated as both a buff AND a debuff?
I'd also like to add that having debuff icons on the left and hot icons on the right is hugely helpful. I notice there is only one setting for where to position icons. So I will take what we have now over having both buffs and debuffs in the same place.
